Can Feeder

This is a prototype to see if there is room on the shelf. I knew it would be tight height of two cans and the two sloping inner ramps.

Measuring sides.

Cutting the sides

Ripping the sides down to size. I really should the riving knife back on.

Can feeds down the top ramp and drops down to bottom ramp

Then rolls to the front.

I do need to tweak the angle of the roll a little for the top ramp but as you can see I don’t have a lot of room. I have about a spare 5mm to raise the angle. I can’t just lower the back as then the can won’t roll forward. Hopefully it will be enough.
It holds nine cans. If you take from the bottom the will roll the next can in. This is good for rotating your cans as the oldest then gets used.
