I know I have not actually made a wood work project in a while and the ones I have made have been very simple ones like the 21st key scissors, but in my defense I have been doing a lot of other things around the house and I am on a really tight budget.
Power outside
I have been working on our outdoor bar (which will soon be an indoor bar with out actually moving it) and have just finished getting the wiring installed so we now have power for a bar fridge, tv and sounds and a few other bits and bobs. We also now have lighting and deck lighting. In essence it is solving the man cave conundrum since the original plan was to have it where the workshop is, but that got out of hand and needs more space so, it has basically just moved to being under the upper deck.
Over all it is slowly coming together and I can just about picture it all finished. (I did say just about) But still has a long way to go.
Now here is the bit you don’t want to hear, I will get it to a stage of completeness and then it will become a secret until the grand opening of it. But you might see a few hints along the way with a few of the projects I have planned to build.
The next major part of the build is either finding a ranch slider/sliding door, or a set of “French doors”, or build a set of “French doors” and closing off the front, from there we have the side access way to block off as well as a another section at the front (undecided yet what to do there) and then it is just interior decorating… which where it will most likely go hush hush till it is finished and the grand opening or grand unveiling.
I do plan on having a few other projects along the way I still have to build cupboards up stairs and I still have a few other things to actually finish ie; the fridge and pantry doors
I also still have to finish the underfloor insulation, we only did the master bedroom. Ugggggghhhh!!! that part is not fun, but it needs doing so will have to get in to finishing that very soon.
Finally I have not had time to teach Xaria the blog software, but she has indicated that she will… I am myself wanting to blog more and possibly and I say this light heartily possibly video some of my projects and upload to you tube. Been that busy doing stuff haven’t had time to even go for a ride on the Ducati.
