Toolshed Contractor’s Tablesaw

The tablesaw has become the work horse in the workshop, and is a go to machine for may of my cuts. The Biesemeyer fence, the Incra mitre gauge and sleds  makes all the difference, There are a few niggly things, like no dado stack, the guard set up, and no splitter that raises and lowers with the blade, but over all pretty happy. I use the saw in 95% of my videos, and does the job.

ToolShed 16mm Bench Mounted Mill/Drill

To fair I didn’t need to get this drill press with the milling bed and at times the milling bed gets in the way. I had a few issues with the drill head and amount of wobble it had and got a new chuck, it is not perfect, but for woodworking it is ok.

ToolShed 350mm Wood Cutting Band Saw

Another work horse in my shop the only thing I have had to do with it, is get a new starter capacitor on the motor. There are times I feel it is a little under powered but that is pretty rare. I will be replacing the fence with the Kreg fence when it becomes available in stock.

ToolShed 6″x 9 ” Belt and Disc Sander

Well it is a sander and is yet a major work horse… most projects will probably get a once over on it. Overall it has not skipped a beat. However on issue is the bed attachment is pretty flimsy and doesn’t always stay at 90 degree to the disc, that being said… it does the job.

ToolShed Midi Wood Working Lathe

I don’t do a lot of turning and to be fair I can not really comment to much on this.  The little I have used it it seems fine… but again I don’t do a lot of turning.

ToolShed Bench Top Planer / Thicknesser

This is a multi tool ie; planer and a thicknesser. I have never used it in thicknesser mode as I have the DeWalt. However I have used the planner and it does the job. However the fence is not great but ok.

ToolShed Dust Extractor /Floor Vacuum

 

Great machine that has been designed for use within industry. ToolShed Inspection Camera
