Incra have reinvented the protractor by putting extra long guide slots at every 45 degrees; 30 degrees; 22.5 degrees; 5 degrees; 1 degrees and 0.5 degrees interval to plot any angle with ease and absolute accuracy. If you take a few seconds to remove the T-bar you will also have an excellent 6inch (150mm) rule with micro-fine marking holes at every 1/32inch.

These rules offer Incra’s patented marking holes at every full; 1/4; 1/2 and 3/4mm from 0 to 300mm. They also offer 0 to 50mm height marking slots on the end in millimeters.

TABLE SAW

When I upgraded from my old table saw from a small home diy saw to a contractors saw, it did not take long before I realised the mitre gauge was not the best. So to help combat this I made a crosscut sled, and it has been perfect and I will continue to use this. However to do an angle mitre cuts it was not the most accurate.

But it is a contractors saw and well it is as good as any other mitre gauge that came with these type of saws. But I wanted a to be able to quickly set up repeatable cuts. So I needed a better system. So in steps Incra 1000HD Mitre Gauge.

The gauge is extendable, and has a sliding flip stop block, it has adjustable mitre bar that will fit most 19mm (3/4″) mitre slots and 180 can’t-miss angle stops in 1 degrees increments with special stops located at 22-1/2 degrees.

The thing with this kit I can add to it reconfigure it or add to it etc. Again it won’t replace my cross cut sled that is set 90 degrees but this sled I can use for a variety of cuts
