Quilted wall frame Hanging

As many of you know my other half is into quilting as I am into woodworking, this can be good because we get to do the odd project together. This one on the woodworking side is very ultra simple just a frame to staple the quilt to. Very very basic, cut to size, glue, tac and square up.

My part of the project took about 3/4 of an hour and half of that was buying the wood. Mainly because to find the wood I have that would be suitable, it is burried somewhere…

As you can see the quilt hanging is pretty detailed and the quilting alone took about 3 hrs.

We then stapled the quilt wall hanging to the frame. Then a ribbon around the edge to give the artist feel and look.

Now the special thing about this quilt, and unfortunately the photo does not show it to well is there are actually Christmas tree lights that are stitched into the quilt and run on a couple of batteries.
